If you consider yourself a power sports enthusiast and are interested in breaking into the industry, the Outdoor Power Equipment Technician Program (OPET) is right for you.
Offered at NAIT's Fairview Campus, the OPET gives students the skills that are in demand by North America's recreational power sports industry—skills and techniques to keep ATVs, quads, power boats and sleds riding in the wind. Students obtain the current knowledge of emerging technologies, combined with relevant, hands-on experience—and that's exactly what employers are seeking. The program consists of 32 weeks plus an eight-week work experience component between Semester 1 and Semester 3. Classes begin January 2 at Fairview for Semester 1.
