Powder play
Ryan Keehn, an avid sledder who has ridden the Sicamous area for quite a few years couldn’t have asked for more perfect conditions while snowmobiling in the Blue Lake area. But Keehn's favourite place to sled is Eagle's Pass, due to the abundance of virgin snow.

"Its a big area and you can always find fresh snow," said Keehn.

Eagle Valley Snowmobile Grooming Society
Situated in a large basin that cuts sharply through the rugged Monashee Mountain range from Sicamous to Revelstoke, B.C., the Eagle Valley boasts some of the best alpine sledding in the province. Four superb riding areas—Owlhead, Queest, Blue Lake and Eagle's Pass—are groomed regularly by members of the Eagle Valley Grooming Society. As a non-profit organization, the society is managed by a group of dedicated volunteers who spend countless hours every season maintaining and perfecting the trails that lead into these world-class sledding areas.

The Eagle Valley Grooming Society is supported by the local businesses of Sicamous along with the sale of trail passes. This community co-operation allows us to keep user fees at a reasonable and competitive rate while constantly striving to provide the best trail grooming service possible. Daily passes are available at the staging areas and season passes can be purchased at JB Marine, Mac's Machine and H2O Motor Sports in Sicamous and Shuswap Xtreme Recreation in Salmon Arm.
