SNOWMOBILING IN Whistler
Whistler is great for sledding, too!

While no skier is unaware of the beauty of Whistler, snowmobilers are just recently becoming fond of playing in this area.

Steep bowls, good powder and a direct route to the Pemberton Ice Cap through the Callaghan and Brandywine play areas make Whistler a good destination for all riders, although Dan Gamache, president of the Powder Mountain Snowmobile Club, said that going up onto the ice cap requires skill and that avalanche gear and survival equipment, which includes an emergency locator beacon, shovel and probe, should be carried with every sled.
