SNOWMOBILING IN Melfort
Experience Melfort
 |
The snowmobile trails in the Melfort area offer a variety of riding through prairie, rolling hills and forestry. The groomed trails are set up in the form of a figure eight to give riders a choice of approximately 100 kilometres of riding or the entire trail of 230 kilometres. The south trail connects with the Naicam Snow Blasters groomed trail, which accesses the trails leading to the East Central and SouthEast sections of the province.
The groomed trail which passes through Star City, connects with the Tisdale Snowmobile Club trails which access the North East and North Central trails. The groomed trail heading north of Melfort and to the Saskatchewan River provides access to the North Central and North East sections of the province as well as Route 66. The Fort a la Corne forestry offers an abundance of abandoned logging trails for the exploring rider.
Given adequate snow conditions riders routinely comment on our excellent trails access to other clubs trails and the availability of fuel and accommodations. The groomed trails are strategically planned wherein fuel availability is adjacent to the trail. A full service hotel, which offers a pool and hot tub after a day of riding is conveniently located near the trail in the city of Melfort.
Two snowmobile dealers are located in Melfort and offer full services and are also located near the groomed trail.
The friendly residents and business community of Melfort and district are proud to welcome snowmobilers.
