Held in conjunction with the Alliston Potato Festival, this is one weekend-long event that has something for everyone.
The 2007 show will focus on family sleds. Displays will include vintage sleds from the '60s, '70s and early '80s that have been a part of family life as well as classic muscle sleds and race sleds.
Other features include Friday Night Under The Lights, an out-door big screen showing of the movie A matter of winning, a large swap meet area, ATVs, and new sleds from the current manufacturers. There is also a Fundraiser for the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer run as well.
Come and show off your prized models from these eras, talk to other collectors and share stories and other items from the old days of snowmobiling. According to organizers Shawn and Susan Horner, last year's show was a huge success and this year promises to be even bigger and better. There are reports of people and sleds coming in from Ontario, New York, Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota, Quebec and Manitoba.
"Everyone had great things to say about the event," said Susan. "Most enjoyed the area and the environment of the festival."
