Once again, the District of Elkford is pleased to present the 12th Wilderness Classic Sled Dog Derby, to be held January 18 to 20, 2008, in Elkford, B.C.
The opening ceremonies will be at 8 a.m. on Saturday. The races will begin at 8:30 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

Other events throughout the weekend include a snow sculpture competition, toonie swim, snowshoe biathlon, kidd and mutt races, fun curling bonspiel and the musher's ball. Sunday will be a free ski day at Wapiti Ski Hill.
