There is no denying Fairbanks, Alaska, is a mecca for winter activities. With that said, what better way is there to prepare for winter than attending the city's Winter Trade Show. The answer is obvious.
The show, to be held on September 28 to 30, 2007, features snowmobiles, ATVs and snowplows, plus information on car care, winterization, boiler tune-ups, heating fuel, home care, travel ideas and much more.
"This is the 8th year for the show and the attendance increases slightly every year," said organizer Kris Knutzen of KO Productions. "There is something for everyone in the family at the show and that is probably the best reason for people to attend."
More than 100 businesses and approximately 4,200 attendees will be at the event. Admission costs $4 and kids aged 12 and under are free. Participants are also entered to win airfare for two to Hawaii from Hawaiian Vacations and a $500 travel voucher from US Travel.
