Polaris Way Out Women ride across Canada
Thirty women from 10 provinces will snowmobile across Canada to raise money and create awareness in their fight against breast cancer.
POLARIS WAY OUT WOMAN
WOW what a ride
Thirty women came from 10 different provinces to snowmobile Canada in an effort to raise money and create awareness in their fight against breast cancer. They were able to raise a little under $240,000 for this worthy cause.
Ride of their lives
Diagnosed at a very young age with no family history of the disease, breast cancer survivor Stacey Wright has very personal and powerful motivations for her involvement with the Way Out Women (WOW) Relay for breast cancer research.
Join the fun | Ride Itinerary
WOW Relay co-founder and national ride coordinator Gisele Remillard would like to remind all snowmobilers—both male and female—that they are welcome to join the official WOW riders (three from each province) and VIPs as they wind their way across the country this winter.
Meet the riders | Cora Tschetters
SnoRiders West advertising consultant Cora Tschetters is continuing her quest to raise funds, burn calories and build strength and stamina for the 2006 Way Out Women (WOW) Relay for breast cancer.
Meet the riders | Tammy Kramer
A member of this year’s team is four-year breast cancer survivor Tammy Kramer. She first learned about the WOW Relay at a snowmobile trade show in Edmonton two years ago.
Meet the riders | Amber Wood
“It’s an amazing way to raise awareness and I’m honoured to be chosen,” said Amber Wood, who was one of three women snowmobilers selected to ride across British Columbia in the 2006 Way Out Women (WOW)

What better way to raise the profile of female snowmobile enthusiasts across Canada and the US and helping a charity at the same time than to get involved?!
