Sweet sledding
This club is enjoying all that the Swan River Valley has to offer
 |
| LINE 'EM UP: Members of the Swan Valley Snowmobile/ATV Association spend many hours riding together and maintaining trails. |
With over 200 kilometres of groomed and well-marked trails in the Swan River Valley and the northern portion of the Duck Mountains, there are plenty of great riding opportunities available here. This very active club has developed most of its trail system in recent years, has constructed two large warm-up shelters and this year purchased a Bombardier groomer for trail maintenance.
The club’s trail system is located in Manitoba’s Parkland tourism area. Swan River, the largest town on the trail system, is approximately 500 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg at the junction of highways 10 and 83.
With four towns and one year-round lodge on the trail system, food and fuel are never far away.
All four of the major snowmobile brands have dealers in Swan River, which makes parts and service readily available.
This trail system joins with the North Mountain Riders to the north, the Intermountain Snowmobile Club and the Roblin Snowmobile Association Inc. to the south as well as the Saskatchewan trail system to the west. The riding opportunities offered by these combined trail systems are almost endless.
Come out and enjoy yourself in the Swan Valley!
