September 2007 | Welcome to the SnoRiders eNewsletter
I think sledders are the only ones that get excited when they feel the autumn chill sweep through the air. For some people, it means they have to put on extra layers of clothing but for us snowmobilers it means the sweet sounds of two- and four-strokes will soon grace our backcountry. But until that fluffy stuff falls from heaven, we'll have to settle with drooling over last season's photos and memories. With that said, here is the latest from SnoRiders West.

JUNEAU, ALASKA
Breaking barriers
Alaska's backcountry allows for many, like Tyler Kipp, to challenge their riding abilities and hone their skills. "Riding up here is absolutely amazing," said Kipp. "This year was a huge stepping stone on learning to pancake whip, do re-entries and jump over 135 feet. Next year, hopefully, I'll be able to land a clean back flip and amplify my whips."
