Taking a look at an Arctic Cat classic We love stories about old sleds. Here’s a great one from Jim Fox of Logan Lake, BC. He writes: “Hi, this is a picture of my grandsons on my 1970 Arctic Cat Panther. I really enjoy your magazine. I bought my Panther in the fall of 1971. It was still in the crate and it’s been a beauty.  In the early 70s, I would take my wife, three boys, plus our little poodle dog and we would ride all over the country. We enjoyed it very much. I thought you might be interested in the old girl. It has a 399 Kohler engine and goes like the wind. The machine is original except I put ski skins on it, but it’s in excellent shape. It has approximately 3000 miles on it.” Yes Jim, your 1970 Panther is a real beauty and we are pleased to feature it in Old Sled Zone.
