Manitoba
Watch for hazards as you push through the powder
Utility poles are sometimes anchored with guy wires for stability. The guy wires are usually easy to spot with their bright yellow covers, but the covers may be damaged or buried in the snow, which makes the wire hard to spot until the last second, particularly at night. If you travel near a river or dam, stay on the designated trail and be aware of the danger of thin ice due to fluctuating water levels. Pay attention to signs that warn you of danger.
Manitoba Hydro wishes you a safe and enjoyable ride this winter.-
